Temperament and type is what Dr. Purr's pays close attention to in order make sure that the right temperaments are bred with the "purr-fect" type kitty. At Dr. Purr's Cattery, all cats are allowed to roam free and experience what mans' lap was made for (tender loving caresses). Dr. Purr's Cattery is a home-based cattery in Macomb Township, Michigan. The owner, Dr. H. M. von Oetinger, is a science teacher for a middle school and university. Her passion has been cats since she was a child and has been raising them for over 20 years. Dr. Purr's Cattery vaccinates all kittens and sends them off to their adoptive homes with a health record and a health guarantee.
Dr. Purr's has all her cats registered with the Cat Fancier's Association and belongs to the Mid-West Cat Fancy Association. All kittens have a series of documents that accompany them on their trip to their new homes. They bring with them their parents pedigrees and photos, mating certificates, their own Cat Fanciers Association registration papers, and history outlines. These documents are official and guarantee all bloodlines.
Dr. Purr's Cattery is a recognized breeder by Science Diet Hills Feline Breeders Program and all kittens are registered with Hills in order to have all of Dr. Purrs' kittens benefit from optimal nutrition.

Dr. Purr's Cattery kittens are socialized and loved by family members constantly which make them, in turn, extremely affectionate lap cats. You have to snuggle and see it for yourself! Future kitty parents are always encouraged to come and visit.
